Getting Involved

It's a well known saying - 'The more the merrier' - and in event organising, it is often very true indeed!

We have a lot to do in a short space of time, and events certainly won't organise themselves! So we are going to need some help, no matter how small.

During this term, we will be actively seeking out willing volunteers to help us organised our events...now don't get nervous at the thought of helping out, you don't need to join the committee and you will not be committed to helping with more than you are willing to, but we will need help.

Helping out by spending just one hour on one event will be fantastic - even if it's just booking some chairs or a venue, or collecting something, or moving something....every little bit helps.

Our committee will be forming working groups that will be responsible for the organisation of their events. These groups will need help in putting things together. That's where you come in; Perhaps you have experience in an area of the event that would be useful, maybe you know someone that could help - whatever it is, please let us know....we'd love to hear from you!
