Update from the Committee - Wed, 30 Sep 2009

The summer has now turned to winter and the committee has turned it's head to getting some serious fundraising done!

So much so in fact, that on 2nd October, the chair of the committee is going into the school to make a movie about the fundraising project with Mrs Lloyd and loads of the children. It is hoped that as many of the children as possible will be able to help with the filming and get an idea of what it's like to make a promotional film.

The film will be available to see for the first time at the launch event on 14th October.

- Launch Event - 14th October: Wednesday 14th October will official see the start of our fundraising activities with a FREE concert being given by the Alton Community Orchestra at Eggars School Hall. Everyone is invited and more information can be found on the 'Event'. page. Whilst you're there, why not download a poster to put in your front window or car window to help spread the word!

- Historical Walkthrough of Holybourne - 21st November at 7:30pm: Come and join local Historian Jane Hurst at Andrews' Endowed School hall for what will be a highly interesting evening as she walks us through the village using old pictures and postcard. Tickets are only
